Malaysia XI 0 - 4 Arsenal
First pre-season friendly today against Malaysia XI.
Smashed them 4-0 with goals from, Ramsey (Pen), Walcott, Vela and Rosicky.
To be fair we put out a very strong team that also included newbie Carl Jenkinson and Ryo Miyachi who spent last season out on loan.
Good to see that football is slowly returning to my life. Not long now until the season starts :)
Next up, we’ve got Hangzhou Greentown on Saturday 16th.

Arsenal are currently on tour in Malaysia on a money making mission :)
Scheduled to play two games;
13th July - Malaysia XI @ 1.45pm
16th July - Hangzhou Greentown @ 12.30pm
Almunia, Denilson and Bendtner were left at home.
Hopefully, we can offload these as asap :)

On Sunday (10th July) went too see Sam’s cousins band play - RetroGrade.

They are only 16-17 years old and yet they’ve won a few competitions.
Performed an acoustic set at out local hippy bar that had a open mic night on.
Made the mistake of drinking on a ‘school night’ again. Yes, sore head on Monday - work was a struggle :)

Went down to Mudeford in Dorset on Saturday (9th July).
Managed to somehow avoid the rain and instead got spoilt by blue sky and lovely sunshine.
Had a lovely meal, went crabbing, walking and played some football.
happy times :)

England Women were knocked out of the World cup on Sat 9th July.
They lost 4.3 on penalties to the F-ing French.
France equalised in normal time with two minutes remaining. Damn it!
You know as an England fan, irrespective of what gender or level, never get involved in a penalty shoot out. It never ends well.

Been so busy recently, I haven’t had any time to update :)
Good news… Arsenal signed a player!
Gervinho signed from Lille, he said;
“I chose Arsenal because it’s a young group within which I will be able to integrate easily.
Watched a few videos of him in action. Looks decent but lanky like Kanu.
Wenger is still being defiant regarding Nasri and Fabregas.
Ferguson has come and said he can’t see Nasri signing for them. We need to shut up and offer Nasri the contract he deserves. Apparently he’s on the same money as Diaby and Denilson; £60k a week.
I’m pretty sure Fabregas will still go.
As soon as Barca stump up the £35m-£40m fee he’s gone.
